A collaboration between IMC and Zhejiang International Maritime College (ZIMC), the IMC Tanker Training Centre in Zhoushan is a prime example of how IMC has actively nurtured, cultivated, and promoted the development of the maritime industry in China for decades.

In addition to shaping and contributing to maritime education in academia, IMC has also provided scholarships and financial support to Chinese students to pursue their studies in maritime-related fields, improving the quality of graduates and professionals in the maritime sector.

We will continue to participate actively and support research and development projects together with Chinese universities and research institutes, organising industry conferences and seminars in China to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration between Chinese and international maritime stakeholders.
