Last Ramadan, IMC Pelita Logistik group of companies conducted CSR activities by visiting local foster care and learning houses on the outskirts of Jakarta that needed assistance.

The company and employees took the initiative to donate basic food necessities, hygiene supplies and a number of school equipment for the needs of children in foster care and learning houses.

1. At the Wisma Tuna Ganda Social Institution in Ps Rebo, East Jakarta, we donated Basic Food Packages, milk and hygiene supplies for homestead residents who have a combination of special needs and disabilities (either two types of disabilities or more). Our colleagues also contributed funds for the needs of the institution.

2. At Rumah Baca Merah Putih, Cilincing, North Jakarta, we donated food packages and school supplies for children studying at Rumah Baca Merah Putih who are generally residents from underprivileged families. Our colleagues also contributed money for the needs of the place.

3. At Rumah Baca Ceria, Kalideres, West Jakarta, we donated food packages, as well as school supplies for children studying there who are generally residents from underprivileged families. We also contributed money for the needs of the reading house and other needs.

This activity is also part of the company’s corporate social responsibility and commitment to participate in sustainable economic development to improve the quality of life and the environment that is beneficial, both for the company itself, the local community, and society in general.
