Unithai Shipyard and Engineering has joined an ESG activity, Aquarium Conservation Project, with Local Fishery Communities at Laem Chabang, Sriracha, Chonburi.

The Community Relations Team of Unithai Shipyard and Engineering has opened the 1st Laem Chabang Fishing Games which was organised by Laem Chabang Local Fishery in association with Local Fishery Association, and Sri Racha Fisheries District Office at Laem Chabang Beach. This event is a part of Project of Fishing, Eating Crabs, Planting Mangrove Forests and Releasing Mudskippers to explore the integrity of aquatic resources to assess the success of the conservation project. More than 30 of the small fishing boat groups from inside and nearby areas have participated in this activity.

Community Relations Team of Unithai Shipyard and Engineering has participated in Planting Forest Planting Life Project,  where they were given mangrove trees from Mr. Warachak Sathapornphinyo, District Chief of Sri Racha to plant in the Laem Chabang Mangrove Forest. In addition, the Laem Chabang community has released fishes and crabs, and cleaned Laem Chabang Beach together with people and officers in nearby areas.
