We visited UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Education in Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok to explore potential partnership opportunities that closely align with our values and priorities, particularly in relation to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The discussions focused on key areas such as ensuring quality and inclusive education, youth empowerment, and cultural heritage preservation.

Additionally, we had the privilege of meeting the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) team to gain insights into their international efforts in supporting refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless individuals. Understanding their work and challenges motivated us to explore ways we can actively contribute and make a positive impact.

UNESCO and UNHCR are tackling important issues that require collaborative efforts from various stakeholders and we believe in the power of partnerships to drive meaningful change. As an organisation driven by the belief that businesses should be a force for good, we want to play a more active role to help solve some of the world’s biggest challenges, and this visit helps us discover new ways of giving back to the communities we are privileged to be a part of.
